My President, My Night, My Way
Wanted to go takes photos of some of the election polls. Rock the Vote was looking for volunteers but as it got later, I was coming down with a nasty headcold, so I took some meds and waited for them to kick in. Didn't really help and I was feeling bummed that on this historical night and this historical election, I, that document every freakin' possible thing under the sun with my digital camara, was not going to take not one photo of the magic in action.
So I sat there watching the election results on all the stations, like I normally do when something big is happening, channel surfing, with camara in hand, I started shooting my TV. Yup, and you can tell the drugs had indeed kicked in, since it was all I could do to hold the camara steady and every time I hit the shutter, the camara tilted. I thought I would fix them or delete the blurry ones but then thought, I want to remember everything about this night and what I was doing during this historic night.
