SWAN Day Press Party 2008

In conjunction with The Fund for Women Artists, a non-profit arts service organization dedicated to helping women artists, and WITASWAN (Women in the Audiences Supporting Women Artists Now), Poetic Seven – a group of South Florida’s multi-cultural art community leaders, celebrate and support woman artists by hosting SWAN Spoken Soul Press Party. SWAN Day (Support Women Artists Now Day) is a new international holiday that celebrates women artists. SWAN Day will be an annual event, taking place on the last Saturday of Women’s History Month; the first took place on Saturday, March 29, 2008. The hopes of this SWAN Spoken Soul Press Party are to create awareness for the featured local artists.
